The Government of Uganda, through the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA), is implementing the Coffee and Cocoa Value Chain Development Project (CoCoDev) under the Inclusive Green Economy Uptake (GreenUp) Financing Agreement of the 11th European Development Fund (EDF).
In August 2023, UCDA put out a call for expressions of interest for participation in the CoCoDev Matching Grant Scheme. The Project Management Unit (PMU) meticulously reviewed 1,158 submissions, of which 967 successfully cleared the administrative phase, while 191 were deemed unsuccessful. All applicants will be duly notified of their status by the PMU.
Moving forward, successful candidates are urged to complete and submit a FULL APPLICATION form alongside other necessary documents to UCDA by the deadline of 16th May 2024.
A copy of the full application form, the matching grant guidelines, the grants procedures manual and the Matching Grant Scheme annex forms are available for download on the UCDA website at www.ugandacoffee.go.ug. Alternatively, applicants may get a copy of the application form from UCDA regional offices in Mukono, Masaka, Hoima, Bushenyi, Fort Portal, Jinja, Mbale, and Gulu.
